Hey I ordered mine 30th of August 2022 and they told me to expect a 10 month delivery time. Would you mind telling me how you specced yours ? Is equipment in anyway affecting the delivery date. I’ve got mine fully specced with every option given in the list

@@SEATCupranet-channel Cupras are supposed to be very high performance hot hatches. The brand has been watered down. Electric cars are not suitable in this bracket of car unless they are very high powered. Even a Kia electric car has 300bhp! Also, the test driver was clearly underwhelmed and trying to be polite about the car. Even the hybrid versions of the Leon and Formentor are an insult to a brand that, until recently, was synonymous with 300bhp+ hot hatches and hot estates. I'm feeling like "Cupra" is going in the wrong direction.

@@alivekicking6247 Thanks for your thoughts. Yes we agree CUPRA has some way to go to keep up with the other brands in terms of all out performance. They are pitching themselves as a premium "lifestyle" brand which means they have low powered cars as well as higher powered cars. Since splitting into their own brand from SEAT it no longer means the fastet spec models, there are more powerful SEAT cars than some CUPRA models. It's all about making money I'm afraid and this way they are making more money.

@@SEATCupranet-channel I don't think they will be successful long term in this. I fear this will be the death of the Cupra. I was hoping this would be more like Alpine was to Renault, or Alpina to BMW, rather than a new class of cars for people who want a fashion car as opposed to a drivers car.

I don't think you are right. The Lux has a parking CAMERA in addition to sensors. The FR has sensors as standard.

Not sure. It never made it to the UK on the pre facelift so I suspect not. Will try and find out.

@@PietrekP hi. Thanks for watching and asking. It's not as good as the pre GPF that's for sure. It's not too bad although surprisingly we thought the Estate (MK4 CUPRA) exhaust sounded better (video for that coming very soon). The sound symposer is stronger on this car. I forgot to say in the video I caught it coming in a bit late on one startup about a second after I'd heard the real sound, but it drowns it out. Hopefully all that makes sense?! 🙂

Bah, it's missing a bunch of kit that should be/was previously standard.

Hi. There might be some small differences in settings available, but the system is very similar and essentially the same software.

@@SEATCupranet-channel And in fact, both work fine when you just set up your user profile. Maybe it is also related to newer sw version issued recently, but I haven't observed any issues with the unit.
